Start with the appropriate workspace
Create your account or sign in, then follow the available setup path for how you work. The Professional workspace represents an individual practitioner. Salon / Studio represents the business workspace. Check the identity you are using before responding to a request or managing business information.
An account alone does not publish a complete business presence. Complete the relevant setup and review the customer-facing information you choose to share. Keep private contact details and home-location information out of public descriptions.
Give customers useful evidence
Explain your services in straightforward language and choose the categories that match the work you actually offer. Use an accurate description, suitable portfolio images and current public area information. A customer should be able to understand what you do without having to interpret a list of vague claims.
Only use photos and other material you have the right to publish. Describe qualifications or experience accurately. If a profile displays checks, badges or reviews, treat each as specific information rather than implying every service or claim is independently verified.
Respond to requests you can fulfil
Read the service details, timing and area before sending an offer. Explain what is included and make your proposed arrangements easy to compare. If an important detail is missing, clarify it rather than making a promise you may not be able to keep.
A focused response is more useful than a generic sales message. Keep your availability and service information current, and follow the booking steps shown when a customer decides to continue. Requests, response levels and accepted offers vary; no volume of work is guaranteed.
Use the industry areas for a different need
Looking for somewhere to work? Honeycomb Spaces contains chair, room and station listings. Looking for a role or arranging cover? The work-listings area supports permanent roles, temporary cover and apprenticeship listings. Access depends on your signed-in workspace and the current listings.
These areas have their own enquiry or application journeys. A rental enquiry is not a customer quote, and a job application is not a confirmed engagement. Read the relevant guide before contacting a publisher or applying.
Questions and answers
Can a salon respond as a business?
MyBeautyHive has a separate Salon / Studio workspace for business activity. Follow its setup and use the correct workspace when responding; the individual Professional workspace is a different identity.
Will joining guarantee local customers?
No. Enquiries depend on customer activity, area, service and timing. A complete, accurate profile and a useful offer help a customer assess you, but do not guarantee requests or accepted quotes.
Can I use the same account to find a service for myself?
The app separates Customer, Professional and Salon workspaces. Use the workspace choices and setup available to your account rather than treating business activity and a personal customer request as the same journey.
